Lifestyle Counseling of Mound is a full service outpatient chemical dependency facility. Lifestyle Counseling of Mound is licensed by the State of Minnesota to provide chemical dependency services. The clinical staff of Lifestyle Counseling of Mound is individually licensed by the State of Minnesota as well. In addition, the clinical staff is credentialed by the International Certification and Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC), a nationally recognized credentialing board.

Serving the Lake Minnetonka area and surrounding communities in western Hennepin County, Lifestyle Counseling of Mound has been in operation since 1982.

The continuum of services offered includes chemical health evaluation, DWI education programs called Project Learn, primary outpatient chemical dependency treatment, relapse prevention outpatient treatment and aftercare.

The chemical dependency treatment offered by Lifestyle Counseling of Mound is contracted with all major HMO/PPO plans in our service area. We are contracted providers for Blue Cross, BHSI, HealthPartners and UBH/Medica. In addition to these contracts, most other insurance is accepted. The treatment programs of Lifestyle Counseling of Mound have a host county contract with Hennepin County to allow utilization of rule 25 funding for clients without private insurance.

As many clients entering our programs have transportation problems, Lifestyle Counseling of Mound provides free transportation to treatment clients in our immediate service area.  We consider our immediate service area to be the area within a 15 mile radius of our office.
